Knights and Combatants

Pelican-in-her-Piety

Pelican-in-her-Piety will maintain an encampment conveying a vivid impression of life in 15th Century England, a heady mix of costumes, sights, sounds and smells.

Watch the 'Arming of the Knight' as the ladies of the camp cook over wood fires recreating authentic dishes; baking bread, churning butter and straining cheeses.

Regular skirmishes will occur in the combat arena as the knights practice their skills in readiness for foreign wars
